Sean just emailed me about something called the PLF (Penguin Liberation Front). Regardless of what they do (Provide mirrors for non-free linux packages, e.g flash player), their logo is awesome!

National Cipher Challenge
Sean, Jonathan, Pete and I have made a team for the National Cipher Challenge! We’ve already answered Challenge ‘0′ (Test challenge), and got it right! Anyway, we are out to win!
At last!
It feels like someone has turned the light on! The iPod touch has arrived! And trust me, it’s about as high as you can get on the list of ‘Things that I must get as soon as possible’. It is basically an iPhone without the phone, which was always the dodgy bit (ATT…). It has twice the capactity, and half the price. Admittedly, it has less applications built in. However, to quote from Apple, “It uses the same damn binaries”. If you want to know more, then gizmodo have a nice bit on it here.
That means that I could install any of the myriads of iPhone apps on a touch! This will remove any thing that the iPhone had over the touch, as I wouldn’t need the phone bit.
Also, I discovered a nice little iPhone app called iPhone SIM Free. This can unlock your iPhone, and make it useable with ANY SIM card. It’s completely legal as well. Tough luck, ATT…
FnM
You may have heard of DnD (Dungeons and Dragons). Well, I’ve written an RPG called FnM (Fields and Moose). It is an epic adventure to free the land of moose from Gollywogs. Xyzu immediately responded by writing an RPG called Xy Inter War. Don’t even try it, it is rubbish. FnM includes a map of about 15 - 20 areas (Depending on when I get bored), contains a levelling system, where you get experience from combat, and unlock new weapons and armour. You can move around freely, and choose where you go. This is much better than Xy Inter War, where events are forced up on you. Watch the front page for more!
