It took me a while, but I’ve done it. I spent last night installing Gentoo Linux, and then spent this morning configuring the network and installing lynx (!) so that I could write this post (which I am doing). I feel rather pleased with myself, and I’m not sure if I want to install a window manager. Fluxbox, maybe, but I don’t think that I want Gnome or KDE. I now have two linuxes on my computer: Ubuntu 7.10 and Gentoo. Now I’ll move on to installing openSUSE!

I’ve finally managed to get into a DnD group! sineWAVE has started a group for all the people that can’t get to the main one. I am going to be a Grey Elven Wizard with an intelligence of 18… I can manage to be a Geek even in the game!
